Mr. satheesh kumar T G, I think I must compliment you for your einstein grade brains, do you think Mr. Ganeshan is sitting and doing charity here, don't you know that he needs profit to fill petrol into his car and also needs to eat three times a day with his family, unless he is a close relative of that former dmk minister, Asshole Raja.

Dear Satheesh, what Ganesh meant by 1USD = Rs85/- includes the duty@27% and shipping charge. Digikey and Mouser sends via courier mode which will normally cost Rs.2000/- minimum.

ReplyDeleteOM Genesan has offered to sell the components with him at a price which is economic to him. it is the choice of us whether to buy from him or from other source if available at a more lesser price. In practical all these components are rare ones and are not available easily. Actual he is offering a valuable service to the homebrewers. If a person go to procure these items from abroad directly he has to shed about 10 to 15 times the price offered by Genesan.
To blame others baselessly is easy. Those who are realy homebrewing knows the difficulty in procuring the components for it..

Great work and effort OM Ganesan! Disregard the useless stuff and concentrate on the core work you've taken upon yourself to promote homebrewing activity in the country. However, just a cautionary point: make sure don't violate any tax issues so that you don't get into trouble and we'd hate to see you get into trouble while trying to help us!

OM ganeshan good effort in keeping the components at the real rate. You are really helping the ham homebrewers. Now, no one can say that we did not had ic,toroids etc otherwise we might have made qrp tx,rx. I would like you to make also a small linear pcb and its kit (3stage of rm96 tx chain) as minima and other homebrew tx will require it. thanks de vu3inj
ReplyDeleteI do not understand why some people are battling over the exchange rate of the US$. After all its one and only Ganeshan the supplier of Rare ham materials in India. We are lucky that we don't have to take tension to import components from abroad. Ham community of VU Land is grateful to Ganeshan and hats off to him for his service to ham radio.
