The built-in protection circuitry, automatically sounds and or bypasses the amp in situations where damage could be caused to the circuitry or when spurious emissions are excessively high due to incorrect band selection.A full range HF amplifier with manual band switching.Ideal for use with the Yaesu FT817 & FT897 and Icom 703, but suitable for use with any low power HF radio. You can use this amp for flex-1500 makes QSOs world wide.Also works great on Elecraft KX3 radio, It will work well with all the QRP rigs plug and play

    Congrats for the good work you have done. This is the one we require in VU land. No worry of importing or customs as it is at our finger tips. As the amp can be used with any homebrew TRX, dxing with good pileup can be achieved to anyone with legal power limit.

  12. Congrats. But the PS will be somewhere around 10k to homebrew and 15-18 k for commercial one.
    Without which the signal won't reach the Ionosphere. Pse mention something about that too.
    Altogether it will be somewhere around 35-40k.

    Thanks to every one good wishes & greeting to our dream project.

    I am at the moment using 2 X 30Amps, 12V smps connected paralel set to 14 VDC without any problem. They may cost in the range of 3K each.

    Can any one find single smps of 12 to 14 V, 60A around this cost, kindly let us know please.

  22. I have now been using the rig @ 50% of rated output ( 180 W max) for over 2 weeks with excellent results.When you have no choice but to use a compromise antenna ,additional power does help even if its a few S point gain.

    Thanks krish & Ganesan for the excellent product.The Red Box is something that i am proud to have in my shack.
